The Comprehensive Test of Nonverbal Intelligence (CTONI) is PRO-ED’s new, unbiased test that measures nonverbal reasoning abilities of individuals for whom most other mental ability tests are either inappropriate or biased. The CTONI measures analogical reasoning, categorical classifications, and sequential reasoning in two different contexts. Includes Examiner’s Manual, Picture Book, Critical Reviews and Research Findings (1982-2009), 50 Form A Answer Booklet and Record Forms, and 50 Form B Answer Booklet and Record Forms, all in a sturdy storage box. Mar 19, 2012 The CTONI-2 kit includes an examiner’s manual, three picture books, and examiner record forms. The test is very user friendly for both administrator and examinee. The test manual is well organized and provides complete information for examiners to administer and score the test. The CTONI-2 (2009 revision) is a popular norm-referenced test that uses nonverbal formats to measure general intelligence of children and adults whose performance on traditional tests might be adversely affected by subtle or overt impairments involving language or motor abilities.

Results are reported as standard scores, percentile ranks, and age equivalents. The CTONI-2 was normed on a large (2827) representative national sample that was stratified by age. The reliability coefficients of its composite are in the .90s with a few in the high .80s. It correlates with most well-known intelligence tests in the high .70s. New oral instructions for common non-English languages in the United States have been provided.
